Iskwew
means women in Cree. This trio creates and performs songs in the plains and
West Coast traditions. Mary Gouchie speaks the Lheidli dialect, and Kym Gouchie is determined to create an album of Carrier
language music. Sandy Scofield is the third member of
this dynamic group.
Sandy & Kym gave a one-hour
performance on Wednesday, November 5, 7:30 pm at the Skidegate
United Church.
