ALMA DE ESPANA
Alma de Espana presented an evening of dazzling Flamenco guitar
music and powerful, spirited dancing to the islands. Their music is described as consisting of sweet
melodic lines strummed fiercely to establish breathtaking passionate rhythms. Dancer/choreographer Veronica Maguire,
flamenco guitarist Harry Owen, and their son, guitarist Gareth Owen and Amity Skala entertained two large audiences on February 15 at
Masset and February 16 in Charlotte.
