Murphy, self-described as “Celtic Roots, Folk Leaves,” is described by others

original Irish/Celtic/Folk songs. Her
new CD, ‘A Painted Moon’, has won her accolades, and the CD also includes guest
appearances from Juno winner David Francey.
Ms. Murphy will give two
concerts on the islands, on Friday, November 17 at the Green Church in Masset
at 7:30 pm, and on Saturday, November 18 at the Legion Hall in Queen Charlotte
at 7:30 pm. Tickets are priced at $15,
or $12 for Arts Council members.

producer/guitarist will offer a Guitar Accompaniment Workshop on Sunday
afternoon, November 19 at the Tlell Fire Hall from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. This workshop will cover a full spectrum of

accompaniment guitar. The workshop will
